The Students’ Union is an elected body of the students. Every year the Students’ Union organises different cultural and co-curricular programmes and thereby inculcates in the students a sense of collective action beyond personal interest. On the College foundation day every year, the Students’ Union brings out the annual magazine ‘Kalorab‘. It is followed by blood donation and health check-up-camps. Apart from that, Saraswati Puja is celebrated with joy and gaiety. Annual cultural event comprising quiz contests, antakshari, etc., is also held. Freshers’ welcome, educational seminars and college picnic are also organised by the Union. ‘Amitava Nandy Smriti Fund’ provides financial assistance to students with poor socioeconomic background. Last but not the least, it has a responsibility to maintain a decorum in the college and guide the newcomers towards the path of progress.
